Program name and purpose

Steps & Sips is a private, invite-only step-counting game. We use text messages to sign you in and to keep you up to date on the weekly contest.

What we send

• Sign-in codes — a 6-digit code whenever you sign in. Sent only when you ask for one.
• Daily step reminder — optional, at an hour you pick, reminding you to log your steps.
• Wednesday result — optional, announcing who won the week and is drinking free at trivia.

Message frequency and cost

Message frequency varies — roughly 8 messages per month, and up to one reminder per day if you have daily reminders switched on. Msg & data rates may apply. Steps & Sips does not charge you anything.

How to opt in

You opt in by entering your mobile number on the Steps & Sips sign-in page and ticking the consent box when you join the group. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of anything else, and we do not share it with third parties.

How to opt out or get help

Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe from reminders and results — you will get one confirmation and then nothing further. Reply START to resume, or HELP for help. You can also switch each text off individually on the Settings page.

Carriers and delivery

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your mobile carrier and coverage.
